Every once and awhile it’s good to look back at history and see all of the hard work that was done to create what people enjoy today. Back then, our family would have bus loads of blueberry pickers come in from New York City and Philadelphia to pick DiMeo blueberries at our New Jersey blueberry farms. Many of the people back then were the Italian immigrants and even some of the Irish, but they worked hard. They were paid .2 cents per blueberry pint picked back then. Here are some of the original tickets from 100 years ago that were issued to DiMeo blueberry pickers when they walked up to the truck in the blueberry field with the crate full of freshly picked blueberries. Read more about water damage restoration. Lots of history here – we continue it every day. Come grow with us: www.DiMeoFarms.com
